WELCOME TO THE ALABAMA A&M UNIVERSITY TESTING SERVICES CENTER

The ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ Testing Services Center provides secure and professional testing services that support student success, academic excellence, and lifelong learning. We serve ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ students, faculty, staff, and members of the surrounding community by administering institutional, state, national, and professional examinations.

Whether you need to schedule an exam, receive approved testing accommodations, or arrange proctoring services, our team is here to assist you.

Testing Center Features

Our modern testing facility includes private testing pods, accessible workstations, secure lockers, updated computers, and a quiet, distraction-reduced environment.

8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Closed daily for lunch from 1:00–2:00 p.m.

Hours may change during university holidays, semester breaks, inclement weather, and special testing periods.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I schedule an exam?

Students can schedule eligible exams online through An appointment is not complete until the student receives confirmation.

How far in advance should I schedule?

Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours before your preferred testing time. 

Students receiving approved testing accommodations should schedule at least five business days in advance.

What should I bring?

ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ students: Bring a valid ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ student ID or other approved photo identification.
Community and external examinees: Bring a valid government-issued photo ID.

Some examinations may have additional identification requirements. Review the requirements for your specific examination before arriving.

What if I arrive late?

Individuals arriving 15 minutes or more after their scheduled appointment may be required to reschedule.

Where do I store my belongings?

Secure lockers are available for phones, bags, smartwatches, notes, and other personal items.

Can someone take a test here if they do not attend Alabama A&M?

Yes. We provide proctoring services for students enrolled at other colleges and universities, as well as individuals completing professional and certification examinations.

Appointments must be scheduled through A $30 proctoring fee is required.

DO YOU PROVIDE TESTING ACCOMMODATIONS?

Yes. Students who need testing accommodations must first receive approval from the Office of Accommodations and Accessibility Services.

Need a secure location to complete an examination for another college, university, certification agency, or professional organization?

The ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ Testing Services Center provides proctoring services for community members and students who are not currently enrolled at ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ.

Available services may include:

  • Computer-based examinations
  • Paper-and-pencil examinations
  • Professional certification examinations
  • Distance-learning examinations
  • College and university examinations

Appointments must be scheduled through

Documentation or testing instructions from the institution or testing organization may also be required before an examination can be administered.
